Elephant‐Skin‐Inspired Porous Cementitious Tiles with Programmable Crack Networks for Passive Cooling

Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Integrating ZnO/Ag2O@g‐C3N4‐Based Nanocomposites Into a Carrageenan Matrix to Efficiently Remove Heavy Metals From Water

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.

Mass Spectrometric Investigation of the Influence of Water Vapour and Oxygen on Gas‐Phase Reactions of Aluminium Acetylacetonate

The gas‐phase decomposition of Al(acac)3 is investigated under inert, oxygen, and water‐containing conditions. Water is found to promote selective ligand removal and suppress hydrocarbon formation, while oxygen induces faster, less selective decomposition pathways.

One‐Step Fabrication of Highly Transparent Superhydrophobic Coatings Via Atmospheric Pressure Radio Frequency Plasma Deposition

Atmospheric‐pressure RF plasma deposition enables the fabrication of transparent, superhydrophobic coatings with anti‐reflective functionality. Process optimization yields high optical transmittance, robust environmental stability, and self‐cleaning properties.
