Generation of Radiation Null for the HMSIW Leaky-Wave Antenna
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2017A new design of half-mode substrate integrated waveguide leaky-wave antenna with radiation null in the radiation pattern is proposed in this letter. The radiation null is realized by controlling the leakage constant of the effective radiation sections (ERSs).

The realizing of radiation null for a SSPPs leaky-wave antenna
2017 7th IEEE International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation, and EMC Technologies (MAPE), 2017A new design of spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) leaky-wave antenna (LWA) with radiation null in the radiation pattern is proposed in this paper. The antenna is fed with coplanar waveguide, and consists of a main radiation section and an auxiliary radiation section. By controlling the initial phase, the phase constant and the radiation strength

Null cone computation of gravitational radiation
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1983The production of gravitational waves is explored, both analytically and numerically, using a null cone formulation of axially symmetric gravitational and matter fields. The coupled field equations are written in an integral form, on a single conformally compactified patch, which is well suited for numerical computation.

The Methods for Generating Radiation Null in Filtering Antennas
2019 Photonics & Electromagnetics Research Symposium - Fall (PIERS - Fall), 2019Filtering antennas have been achieved more attention for the advantages of reducing the requirement of the filter in wireless communication systems. The radiation nulls of filtering antenna can further improve the frequency selectivity and decrease the mutual coupling between the closely placed antennas operating at different frequencies so that the ...

Harmonic and Null Descriptions of Gravitational Radiation
Physical Review, 1968Abstract : The problem of an axially symmetric space-time containing gravitational waves in the usual Bondi null coordinate system is considered. This Bondi frame is then related to asymptotically harmonic coordinates by means of a characteristic initial value problem.

IV.—On Properties of Null Geodesics, and their Application to the Theory of Radiation
Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 1934In a previous paper an expression was given by one of us for the Doppler effect in a de Sitter universe. In the present communication an attempt is made to obtain a more general expression for the Doppler effect, and for this purpose certain results have been derived relating to the properties of null geodesics in a general Riemannian space.

Slotted Waveguide Antenna With Two Radiation Nulls
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2008A design of a linear array antenna having two radiation nulls and otherwise omnidirectional radiation pattern is reported. A new configuration of a waveguide broad wall longitudinal slot doublet with positive and negative offsets with respect to the waveguide center line is used to design the array.

Null Search for Bursts of Gravitational Radiation
Physical Review Letters, 1973A calibrated detector of kilohertz-band gravitational radiation has been built which has sufficiently improved sensitivity over Weber's apparatus to allow comparison with his two-detector coincidence results. No events were observed by us at 710 Hz during a recent three-month period of observation.
