Relativistic effect of atomic radiative processes

In order to avoid any entanglement of the atomic screening effect, we would like to elucidate the relativistic effect of the atomic radiative processes by examining the radiative processes of the hydrogenlike atomic ion system.

Tunnelling contribution in non-radiative processes

Abstract A semiclassical formalism, already introduced to treat non-radiative processes in multidimensional spaces, has been extended to compute total non-radiative transition rates. A simple approximate analysis results in simple formulae which discriminate between quantum-tunnelling contributions and classical ones.

Abstract Lifetimes of excited vibronic levels in NCNO are measured both by LIF and by monitoring excited state absorptions. Fluorescence lifetimes are longer than S 1 radiative lifetimes at all wavelengths between the band origin (11339 cm −1 ) and D o (17085 cm −1 ).

Nonradiative and Radiative Recombination Processes of ZnS Epitaxial Layers

Room temperature photoluminescence (PL) and piezoelectric photothermal (PPT) spectroscopy were successfully performed on two different ZnS epitaxial layers grown by pyrolytic MOVPE on GaAs(100) by using diethyldisulphide (Et2S2) as sulphur precursor at 390 °C and 435 °C.

Zitterbewegung in Radiative Processes

The zitterbewegung is a local circulatory motion of the electron presumed to be the basis of the electron spin and magnetic moment. A reformulation of the Dirac theory shows that this interpretation can be sustained rigorously, with the complex phase factor in the wave function describing the local frequency and phase of the circulatory motion directly.
