The radical of a non-associative ring [PDF]
In this paper a definition is proposed for the radical of a non-associative ring. Our results are somewhat similar to those given for algebras by Albert in [3],1 but the difficulties that arose in the earlier theory from absolute divisors of zero have been overcome. With slight modifications, the present proofs are applicable to algebras.

Recent advances using cyclopropanols and cyclobutanols in ring-opening asymmetric synthesis
Due to high ring strain energies, cyclopropanols and cyclobutanols have a strong tendency of breaking the endocyclic C–C bonds to participate in versatile organic transformations.

In 1964, Bertram Yood posed the following problem: whether the intersection of all closed maximal regular left ideals of a topological ring coincides with the intersection of all closed maximal regular right ideals of this ring.

On the left strongly prime modules and their radicals
We give the new results on the theory of the one-sided (left) strongly prime modules and their strongly prime radicals. Particularly, the conceptually new and short proof of the A.L.Rosenberg’s theorem about one-sided strongly prime radical of the ring ...

Methods for improving the antioxidant activity of phenolic compounds have been widely investigated; however, most studies have focused on the structure–activity correlations of substituents on the aromatic rings of catechols or flavonoids.

A characterization of the nil radical of a ring [PDF]
It is shown that all primitive ideals are of the form p = P(Γ, S, ψ) and that a ring R is nil if and only if it has no prime ideals of the form P = P(Γ9 S, ψ). It is shown that the nil radical of any ring is the intersection of ail prime ideals P = P(Γ, S, φ).

Kurosh-Amitsur Right Jacobson Radical of Type 0 for Right Near-Rings
By a near-ring we mean a right near-ring. J0r, the right Jacobson radical of type 0, was introduced for near-rings by the first and second authors. In this paper properties of the radical J0r are studied. It is shown that J0r is a Kurosh-Amitsur radical
