Student-Centered Learning to Prevent Radicalization at Islamic Junior Schools in Surakarta Indonesia

Solo Universal Journal of Islamic Education and Multiculturalism
Youth radicalization presents serious threats to the peace and stability of society, particularly in educational environments. The purpose of this study is to investigate how Student-Centered Learning (SCL) at Islamic Junior Schools functions as a ...

Power of the network and power from the network: Group processes and radicalization

Group Processes & Intergroup Relations
The 3N model of radicalization posits that radicalization results from the confluence of the need for significance, the narrative, and the network. The network validates the narrative and rewards with significance those who adhere to it.

Tuning radical reactivity for selective radical/radical cross-coupling

Science Bulletin, 2018
Radical/radical cross-coupling represents a straightforward way for the construction of new chemical bonds in theory and has received more and more attention over the past several years. Until now, it is challenging to achieve the selective bond formation between two transient radicals since selective radical cross-coupling usually happens between ...

Marketing to Prevent Radicalization: A First Attempt at Delimiting the Field

Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, 2022
Our world is becoming more polarized than ever before, with a growing number of extremist groups spreading radical worldviews. Here, we adopt a broad definition of radicalization.

Roaming Radicals

Annual Review of Physical Chemistry, 2011
Roaming is a recently verified unusual pathway to molecular products from unimolecular dissociation of an energized molecule. Here we present the evidence for this pathway for H2CO and CH3CHO. Theoretical analysis shows that this path visits the plateau region of the potential energy surface near dissociation to radical products.

RADICAL-RADICAL REACTIONS

Annual Review of Physical Chemistry, 1996
▪ Abstract  Radical-radical reactions generally proceed on potential energy surfaces that have no maximum. Collisional deactivation leads to a stable molecular product; alternatively, radical or molecular products can be formed via dissociation channels additional to those regenerating the reactants.

Radical Nanomedicine

Nanomedicine, 2006
Nanotechnology has made significant advances in the reduction of free radical damage in the field of materials science. Cross-disciplinary interactions and the application of this technology to biological systems has led to the elucidation of novel nanoparticle antioxidants, which are the subject of this review. Recent reports suggest that cerium oxide

Generation and Radical–Radical Cross-Coupling of Alkenyloxy Radical

Organic Letters
Alkene-attached oxygen radicals are rarely used, as highly reactive oxygen radicals are incompatible with the alkene moiety. The direct radical-radical cross-coupling of O radicals is also challenging (limited to N-O bond formation) because of the lack of suitable persistent radical species.

Radical Pairs

Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1977
The search for new radicals goes on. Recently R. L. Snider ([6], see page 216) introduced the following notion. Let α and β be any two radicals. A ring R will be said to be an (α : β) ring if for any ideal A of R, we have α (R/A) ≧ β (R/A).
