Symptomatic residual radicular cysts
Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine, 1988The clinical, radiological and histological characteristics of 31 symptomatic residual radicular cysts are compared and contrasted with 39 asymptomatic residual cysts. Differences in size and site incidence are demonstrated along with an inversely proportional relationship between radiographic cortication and degree of acute inflammation in the cyst ...

Nonsurgical resolution of radicular cysts
Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1972Abstract This study, based upon the histologic examination of 969 radicular cysts, suggests that the vast majority of radicular cysts undergo resolution following conservative endodontic therapy. The mechanism involved in this resolution may be the dissolution of epithelial lining due to the inflammatory exudate.

Pseudoameloblastomatous Changes in the Wall of a Radicular Cyst
American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1974A periapical soft-tissue lesion from a maxillary bicuspid root tip was studied histologically. The initial impression was plexiform ameloblastoma. Large Radicular Cyst in the Maxillary Sinus
Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, 2011Radicular cysts (RCs) are the most common inflammatory jaw cystic lesions that occur infected and necrotic in teeth pulps. They account for more than 50% of all odontogenic cysts. Radicular cysts cause slowly progressive painless swelling. There are no symptoms until they become large. Enucleating the cyst is recommended with primary treatment. Here we
