Pseudoameloblastomatous Changes in the Wall of a Radicular Cyst
American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1974A periapical soft-tissue lesion from a maxillary bicuspid root tip was studied histologically. The initial impression was plexiform ameloblastoma. Subsequent review of the radiographic appearance of the lesion and tissue sections from deeper within the paraffin block revealed a cystic structure.

Radicular Cyst of the Premaxilla in a Dog
Journal of Veterinary Dentistry, 2003A 13-year-old, male/neutered Border Collie dog was diagnosed with a radicular cyst of the left premaxilla. Tooth extraction and curettage of the lesion resulted in a positive clinical outcome 6-months following treatment.

Electrophoretic differentiation of radicular cysts and granulomas
Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1973Abstract Polyacrylamide-gel electrophoresis was used for differential diagnosis of radicular cysts and granulomas. Root canal fluids were aspirated from forty anterior teeth with radiographic evidence of periapical pathosis, and from one pulpless anterior tooth with no radiographic evidence of periapical pathosis.

Age changes in residual radicular cysts
Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine, 1986Histological and radiographic study of 33 uninfected residual radicular cysts has shown that there is a slow increase in mineralised deposits within the cyst lumen with time. This becomes prominent histochemically in those cysts more than 8 years old and radiographically 6 years later.

Radicular cyst in mixed dentition
international journal of stomatology & occlusion medicine, 2014Radicular cysts are the most frequent odontogenic cystic lesions in human tooth-bearing areas but according to the English literature are rarely associated with deciduous teeth. This case report presents an additional case of a radicular cyst associated with a deciduous mandibular molar along with a bifid rib.

Galectins play important roles in immunoinflammatory responses, but their participation in the development of periapical lesions remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the expressions of galectins-1, -3, and -7 in periapical lesions, correlating them with the intensity of the inflammatory infiltrate and the pattern of the cystic epithelium ...

Radicular cysts are involved in the recruitment of osteoclast precursors
Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine, 1996In consideration of the close relationship between radicular cysts and alveolar bone, it is important to evaluate the potential involvement of the neighbouring bone tissue in such lesions. In the present study, using cytochemical, immunocytochemical and morphological analyses, presumptive osteoclast precursors were revealed in the connective tissue of ...
