RADIO CONTINUUM AND H I STUDY OF BLUE COMPACT DWARF GALAXIES [PDF]
The multifrequency radio continuum and 21cm HI observations of five blue compact dwarf (BCD) galaxies, Mrk 104, Mrk 108, Mrk 1039, Mrk 1069 and I Zw 97 using the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope (GMRT) are presented here. Radio continuum emission at 610 MHz and 325 MHz is detected from all the observed galaxies whereas only a few are detected at 240 MHz.

Abstract Central artery stiffening increases the haemodynamic pulsations transmitted downstream towards target organs, including the brain. While recent evidence suggests that long duration spaceflight is associated with reduced common carotid artery (CCA) distensibility, cerebrovascular pulsatility has not been extensively characterized in astronauts.

Radio continuum and CO emission in star-forming galaxies [PDF]
We combine the radio continuum images from the NRAO VLA Sky Survey with the CO-line observations from the extragalactic CO survey of the Five College Radio Astronomy Observatory to study the relationship between molecular gas and the star formation ...

Radio continuum evidence for nuclear outflow in the Circinus galaxy [PDF]
Australia Telescope Compact Array radio continuum maps of the edge-on galaxy in Circinus are presented for four frequencies. The unresolved core of the galaxy measures less than 20 pc in diameter and has a flat spectral index of a = -0.06 ± 0.15 (S ∝ v).

Spaceborne and spaceborn: Physiological aspects of pregnancy and birth during interplanetary flight
Abstract Crewed interplanetary return missions that are on the planning horizon will take years, more than enough time for initiation and completion of a pregnancy. Pregnancy is viewed as a sequence of processes – fertilization, blastocyst formation, implantation, gastrulation, placentation, organogenesis, gross morphogenesis, birth and neonatal ...

Radio continuum and far-infrared observations of low surface brightness galaxies [PDF]
We present Very Large Array (VLA) radio continuum and Infrared Astronomy Satellite (IRAS) far-infrared (FIR) observations of 16 low luminosity galaxies of mostly low surface brightness.

The TANGO Project: Thorough ANalysis of radio-Galaxies Observations [PDF]
We present a sample of radio galaxies selected only on the basis of radio continuum emission and we confirm that these galaxies have lower molecular gas mass than other elliptical galaxies with different selection criteria.

A relationship between the integrated CO intensity and the radio continuum emission in spiral galaxies [PDF]
In an effort to determine the role played by cosmic ray electrons and interstellar radiation fields on the collapse of molecular clouds, a survey was begun to investigate the relationship between the radio continuum brightness emission and the integrated

A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.
