Gellan Gum Fluid Gel System for Controlled‐Delivery of Cytokine‐Licensed MSC‐EVs to Enhance Corneal Repair in Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Gellan gum fluid gel (FG) enables controlled ocular delivery of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)‐derived extracellular vesicles (EV). Its shear‐thinning, solid‐liquid‐solid rheology ensures prolonged ocular retention. Sustained MSC‐EV release (∼18% in 6 hrs) supports effective EV ocular delivery.

Detection of the thermal radio continuum emission from the G9.62+0.19-F Hot Core

open access: yes, 2000
We present new high resolution and high sensitivity multi-frequency VLA radio continuum observations of the G9.62+0.19-F hot molecular core. We detect for the first time faint centimetric radio continuum emission at the position of the core.

Plasmonic Enhancement of Fluorescence and Protein Dynamics in Living Mammalian Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates plasmonic enhancement of the function of fluorescent voltage sensing proteins (genetically encoded voltage indicators, (GEVIs), QuasAr6) in live mammalian cells. Coupling to plasmonic nanoparticles does not just increase fluorescence, but influences the protein photocycle, creating a hybrid sensor with its response speed to ...

Radio Afterglows from Tidal Disruption Events: An Unbiased Sample from ASKAP RACS

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Late-time (∼a year) radio follow-up of optically discovered tidal disruption events (TDEs) is increasingly resulting in detections at radio wavelengths, and there is growing evidence for this late-time radio activity to be common to the broad class of ...

HCO+ and Radio Continuum Emission from the Star Forming Region G75.78+0.34

open access: yesAdvances in Astronomy, 2014
We present 1.3 and 3.6 cm radio continuum images and a HCO+ spectrum of the massive star forming region G75.78+0.34 obtained with the Very Large Array (VLA) and with the Berkley Illinois Maryland Association (BIMA) interferometer.

SN 1885A and Supernova Remnants in the Centre of M31 with LOFAR

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We present the first LOFAR image of the center of M31 at a frequency of 150 MHz. We clearly detect three supernova remnants, which, along with archival VLA data at 3 GHz and other published radio and X-ray data, allows us to characterize them in detail ...

A study of radio continuum emission of the Milky Way Galaxy [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The synchrotron emissivity distribution of the Milky Way Galaxy has been modelled from the 408 MHz allsky survey of Haslam et al.(1982) after separation of its thermal component with the help of IRAS 60 micron emission(Broadbent et al 1989).

Strain Engineering of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Anisotropy in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Biaxial compressive strain significantly enhances magnetoresistance and critical saturation fields in thin flakes of the 2D magnet CrSBr, along all three crystallographic axes. First‐principles calculations link these effects to strain‐induced increases in exchange interactions and magnetic anisotropy.

Classifying Compact Radio Emission in Nearby Galaxies: A 10 GHz Study of Active Galactic Nuclei, Supernovae, Anomalous Microwave Emission, and Star-forming Regions

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
We present 115 compact radio point sources in three galaxies, NGC 5474, NGC 4631, and M51, taken in the most extended (A-)configuration of the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array at 10 GHz.
