Bidirectional IoT Device Identification Based on Radio Frequency Fingerprint Reciprocity

ICC 2021 - IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2021
Existing research on Radio Frequency Fingerprint (RFF) mainly focus on unilateral device identification in one communication direction. In practice, it is difficult for IoT devices to identify the base station due to their hardware insufficiencies. In this paper, a bidirectional device identification method is proposed for IoT scenarios.

Chipless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Device

2007 1st Annual RFID Eurasia, 2007
A novel technique for radio frequency identification devices (RFID) based on remote measurement of complex impedance at microwave frequencies is presented. The low cost read-only tags do not need semiconductor elements and can be implemented by printing a conducting pattern on a low cost dielectric substrate.

Intelligent buildings with radio frequency identification devices

Structural Survey, 2005
PurposeThe drive for intelligent buildings continues unabated. An intelligent building (IB) is one that provides a responsive and supportive environment within which an organisation can attain a range of objectives, i.e. a building within which the building fabric, space, services and information systems can respond efficiently to the initial and ...
