SPHINX31 acts as a SRPK1 inhibitor targeting the ATR/DNA‐PKcs/CHK1 replicative checkpoint to inhibit cell growth in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.

Joint spectrum sensing, power and bandwidth allocation for multiband cognitive radio systems

open access: yesIET Communications, 2021
Multiband cognitive radio (CR) signaling allows CR networks to efficiently take advantage of the unused frequency bands. Joint spectrum sensing and power allocation in CR systems has been shown to provide higher opportunities for CR transmission. In this

Experimental data on radio frequency interference in microwave links using frequency scan measurements at 6 GHz, 7 GHz, and 8 GHz

open access: yesData in Brief, 2021
One of the biggest challenges for wireless communication network operators is how to minimize or mitigate radio frequency interference (RFI) for efficient network services at the desired quality of service (QoS).

Mutant p53R273H disrupts PDPK1 homodimerization and contributes to PDPK1 activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
How mutant p53R273H drives AKT signaling is unclear. We show that p53R273H, but not wild‐type, directly binds PDPK1 via a mutation‐dependent conformational change. This interaction disrupts inhibitory PDPK1 homodimerization and enhances AKT phosphorylation.

Channel covariance matrix based secret key generation for low‐power terminals in frequency division duplex systems

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2021
The existing secret key generation (SKG) techniques are not applicable for frequency division duplex (FDD) Internet of Things networks due to the low power constraints and limited computing resources.

Space–time line coded spatial modulation

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2022
In this letter, a novel multiple‐input multiple‐output transceiver technique, named space–time line coded spatial modulation (STLC‐SM) is proposed, where two modulation symbols are transmitted through one of the multiple transmit antennas determined by ...

The fixed links frequency assignment problem with equipment selection

open access: yes, 2013
Microwave fixed links play a vital role supporting infrastructure requirements in telecommunications. As the demand for their use increases, particularly in providing backhaul for mobile networks, it is important that the microwave spectrum is exploited ...
