Ooty Occultations of 76 radio sources
Positional and structural information derived from lunar occultations observed at 327 MHz is presented for 76 radio sources, most of them of flux density less than 2×10 -26 Wm -2 Hz -1 . Only 16 sources are optically identified. Two of the stronger sources in the list, viz. PKS 1417-19 and MSH 16-205 have a head-tail type of radio structure.

Selective methanol sensors are achieved by coating carbon nanotube chemiresistors with two dimensional conductive metal–organic frameworks that incorporate intra‐pore clusters. These confined clusters increase the density of adsorption sites while restricting the transport of larger interfering molecules, particularly ethanol. This sensing architecture

IMPACT OF IONOSPHERIC HORIZONTAL ASYMMETRY ON ELECTRON DENSITY PROFILES DERIVED BY GNSS RADIO OCCULTATION [PDF]
The ‘Onion-peeling' algorithm is a very common technique used to invert Radio Occultation (RO) data in the ionosphere. Because of the implicit assumption of spherical symmetry for the electron density distribution in the ionosphere, the standard Onion ...

Jupiter's Occultation Radii: Implications for its Internal Dynamics
The physical shape of a giant planet can reveal important information about its centrifugal potential, and therefore, its rotation. In this paper I investigate the response of Jupiter's shape to differential rotation on cylinders of various cylindrical ...

A new benign solvent (1,3‐diphenylacetone) enables a simple, safe, and sustainable dissolution and gelation method to convert waste PET into low density, monolithic aerogels with high mechanical strength (E = 20 MPa) and remarkably low thermal conductivity (k = 21.9 to 28.9 mW/m·K).

The Mariner Jupiter/Saturn ring occultation experiment [PDF]
Radio occultation measurements of Saturn's rings as measured by the Mariner Jupiter/Saturn radio science experiment are reported. These signal measurements provide information on size, distribution, and density of particle material found in the ...

Earth Occultation Imaging of the Low Energy Gamma-Ray Sky with GBM
The Earth Occultation Technique (EOT) has been applied to Fermi's Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) to perform all-sky monitoring for a predetermined catalog of hard X-ray/soft gamma-ray sources.
