Investigation of the Accuracy and Contributing Factors of AI‐Based Diagnosis of Urothelial Carcinoma in Canine Abdominal Radiography

open access: yesVeterinary Radiology &Ultrasound, Volume 67, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Urothelial carcinoma (UC) is a highly malignant urinary cancer of the transitional epithelium in dogs. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have shown substantial potential in veterinary medicine. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of AI‐based software in detecting UC in dogs using abdominal ...

Partial Sigma Covalent Bonding in Transition Metals

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 11, 30 April 2026.
This study demonstrates partial σ‐covalent bonding is a general electronic phenomenon spanning main‐group biradicals and d8–d8 transition‐metal systems (Co, Rh, Ir). The analyses in this study reveal that ligand field (Dimen and Lantern organic frameworks) and orbital symmetry govern metal–metal interactions, with different bonding expressions ...

Investigating Synthetic Dolomite Mixtures and Phase Adjustment Parameters in Electrochemical Cement Precursor Production

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 27, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
The electrochemical dissolution of synthetic dolomite mixtures and reconstitution into hydroxide precursor phases suitable for Portland cement and Mg‐based cements is investigated. Adjustments of the experimental parameters during electrolysis allow for adjustments in product phase distribution, shedding insight into mixture separation techniques in ...

Relatively Intense Daytime GNSS Amplitude Scintillations at Middle Latitude Linked With Multi‐Layered Strong Es Structures

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
Abstract Intense Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) amplitude scintillations usually occur in nighttime at low latitudes due to ionospheric plasma bubble irregularities. During daytime at middle latitudes, previous studies found that the sporadic E (Es) layer could lead to GNSS amplitude scintillations, which however, is relatively weak, for ...

Efficient and Durable Photochemical CO2 Reduction by TiO2‐Immobilized Metal Porphyrin Catalysts

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
A dye‐sensitized TiO2 scaffold bearing IrP and 3d‐metalloporphyrin catalysts (M‐TCPP; M = Fe, Co, Ni, Cu) drives efficient CO2‐to‐CO conversion and H2 evolution. Robust TiO2 immobilization and rapid interfacial electron transfer within the ternary architecture underpin the markedly enhanced activities relative to the mixed homogeneous systems.
