Weighted Stacking of Radio Images Affected by Noise and Interfering Signals
We implement an algorithm based on the weighted stacking of astronomical images that can combine different observations of the same region of the sky removing the interfering signals.

Assessment of radio-activation using spectroscopy in medical linear accelerators.
In radiotherapy, when photon energy exceeding 8 MV is utilized, photoneutrons can activate the components within the gantry of the linear accelerator (linac).

The growing demand for lightweight, nontoxic, and multifunctional gamma shielding materials has intensified efforts to find alternatives to conventional lead and aluminum‐based protectants. In this work, we develop epoxy quartz fabric composites reinforced with cobalt chloride (CoCl2) microparticles, fabricated via hand lay‐up with varying filler ...

Spectroscopy of QSOs from the Texas Radio Survey [PDF]
We report briefly on our optical spectroscopy of QSOs from the radio survey in progress at the University of Texas Radio Astronomy Observatory (UTRAO). The radio survey, under the direction of Dr J. N. Douglas, covers declinations north of −36 degrees, in strips that are 9 degrees wide in declination.

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY OF NEARBY RADIO ACTIVE ELLIPTICAL GALAXIES [PDF]
In preparation for a study of their circumnuclear gas we have surveyed 60% of a complete sample of elliptical galaxies within 75 Mpc that are radiosources. Some 20% of our nuclear spectra have infrared emission lines, mostly Paschen lines, Brackett gamma and [FeII]. We consider the influence of radio power and black hole mass in relation to the spectra.

Radio and Optical Flares on the dMe Flare Star EV Lac
We present the results of a coordinated campaign to observe radio and optical stellar flares from the nearby M dwarf flare star EV Lac. From a total of 27 hr of radio and 29 hr of optical observations, we examine the correspondence of the action of ...
