A radio telescope for Ireland

open access: yes, 2005
Plans are underway for the commissioning of a radio telescope on the island of Ireland at Birr Castle, possibly with a second antenna to be constructed in Northern Ireland. Due to Ireland's location at the northwest corner of Europe, these telescopes will extend the baseline coverages of both the EVN and MERLIN, increasing the imaging fidelity and ...

DETERMINATION SKY RADIO EMISSION BACKGROUND USING RADIO JOVE TELESCOPE

open access: yesمجلة كلية التربية للبنات, 2019
In This paper, sky radio emission background level associated with radio storm burst for the Sun and Jupiter is determined at frequency (20.1 MHz). The observation data for radio Jove telescope for the Sun and Jupiter radio storm observations data are ...

Globular Clusters GMRT Pulsar Search (GCGPS). I. Survey Description, Discovery and Timing of the First Pulsar in NGC6093 (M80)

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
This paper describes the new Globular Clusters GMRT Pulsar Search survey. This survey aims to find millisecond pulsars (MSPs) in the globular clusters (GCs) of the Milky Way using the upgraded Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (uGMRT).

Detecting axion stars with radio telescopes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
When axion stars fly through an astrophysical magnetic background, the axion-to-photon conversion may generate a large electromagnetic radiation power. After including the interference effects of the spacially-extended axion-star source and the macroscopic medium effects, we estimate the radiation power when an axion star meets a neutron star.

Tracking and analysis of solar radio waves using a low-cost Radio Telescope in urban areas [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
Radio telescopes are specialized instruments to detect radio-waves between 30MHz-300GHz from different astronomical sources. It has ability to capture radio signals from satellites effectively during high light pollution and cloudy weather.
