DETERMINATION SKY RADIO EMISSION BACKGROUND USING RADIO JOVE TELESCOPE
In This paper, sky radio emission background level associated with radio storm burst for the Sun and Jupiter is determined at frequency (20.1 MHz). The observation data for radio Jove telescope for the Sun and Jupiter radio storm observations data are ...

Alternative Approaches for Estimating Highest‐Density Regions
Summary Among the variety of statistical intervals, highest‐density regions (HDRs) stand out for their ability to effectively summarise a distribution or sample, unveiling its distinctive and salient features. An HDR represents the minimum size set that satisfies a certain probability coverage, and current methods for their computation require ...

Detecting axion stars with radio telescopes
When axion stars fly through an astrophysical magnetic background, the axion-to-photon conversion may generate a large electromagnetic radiation power. After including the interference effects of the spacially-extended axion-star source and the macroscopic medium effects, we estimate the radiation power when an axion star meets a neutron star.

Variance Matrix Priors for Dirichlet Process Mixture Models With Gaussian Kernels
Summary Bayesian mixture modelling is widely used for density estimation and clustering. The Dirichlet process mixture model (DPMM) is the most popular Bayesian non‐parametric mixture modelling approach. In this manuscript, we study the choice of prior for the variance or precision matrix when Gaussian kernels are adopted.

Tracking and analysis of solar radio waves using a low-cost Radio Telescope in urban areas [PDF]
Radio telescopes are specialized instruments to detect radio-waves between 30MHz-300GHz from different astronomical sources. It has ability to capture radio signals from satellites effectively during high light pollution and cloudy weather.
