Covalently‐Bonded Diaphite Nanoplatelet with Engineered Electronic Properties of Diamond

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel approach to engineering the electronic properties of diamond is reported on the diaphite nanoplatelet consisting of (11¯${{\bar{1}}}$1) planes of diamond nanoplatelet covalently bonded with graphite (0001) planes. The strong sp3/sp2‐hybridized interfacial covalent bonding induces the electron transfer from diamond to graphite, resulting in a ...

Boundary Determination of Concealed Structure Region Based on Electromagnetic Tomography

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2020
To further explore the root cause of the high roof collapse phenomenon of the 1303 working face, the high-precision tunnel detection of the 1303 working face was carried out by electromagnetic wave fixed point method, and three sets of structural ...

A new double radio relic in PSZ1 G096.89+24.17 and a radio relic mass-luminosity relation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Radio relics are diffuse synchrotron sources in galaxy clusters that are believed to trace large-scale shock waves. We have discovered a new double radio relic system in PSZ1 G096.89+24.17 (z=0.3) and have carried out a full-polarization radio observation using the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT) at 1.4 GHz.

Radio Wave Propagation [PDF]

open access: yesIOSR Journal of Electronics and Communication Engineering, 2014
This thesis deals with Radio Wave Propagation in environments where the propagation is severely influenced by surrounding objects, mainly walls and other building structures. As an introduction, a brief description is given on propagation terms like loss, delay and dispersion along with system functions relevant for the topic.

Imbalanced Surface Charge Induced Phase Segregation in Mixed Halide Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The key factor determining the phase segregation in mixed halide perovskites (MHP) is the intrinsic imbalanced surface charges in the crystal lattice. MHP films with excellent crystallinity and surface morphology can suffer severe phase segregation.

Fossil Radio Plasma in Cluster Merger Shock Waves [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2001
In several merging clusters of galaxies so-called cluster radio relics have been observed. These are extended radio sources which do not seem to be associated with any radio galaxy. Two competing physical mechanisms to accelerate the radio emitting electrons have been proposed: (i) diffusive shock acceleration and (ii) adiabatic compression of fossil ...

Recover of acoustic-gravity wave properties revealed from measurements of VLF radio wave amplitudes [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
A simple method has been proposed to determine acoustic-gravity wave (AGW) properties at mesosphere heights from measurements of VLF radio signals. For relatively short paths (less than $\sim$ 2000 km long), simple relations are obtained for estimation of AGW neutral density fluctuation from measurements of amplitudes of radio signals.

Removing Homocoupling Defects in Alkoxy/Alkyl‐PBTTT Enhances Polymer:Fullerene Co‐Crystal Formation and Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

A STUDY ON THE KOREAN IONOSPHERIC VARIABILITY [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1992
The ionosphere in accordance with solar activity can affect the transmission of radio waves. The effect of the ionosphere on the radio wave propagation are scattering of radio waves, attenuation, angle error, ranging error, and time delay.

Direct Ink Writing of Conductive Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the use of direct ink writing (DIW) for fabricating conductive hydrogels with customizable 3D structures. It outlines the rheological requirements for successful DIW, followed by an exploration of the materials and ink formulations used to impart electronic and/or ionic conductivity to hydrogels while maintaining printability ...
