Molecular Classification of Resected Primary Duodenal Adenocarcinoma
ABSTRACT Introduction The molecular and histological characteristics of primary duodenal adenocarcinoma (DA) have been poorly described, which hampers the development of new treatment options. This study aimed to characterize the landscape of chromosomal copy number aberrations (CNAs), microsatellite instability status, and tumor–stroma content, and ...

Abstract Background Proton GRID radiotherapy (RT) is an extension of photon spatially fractionated radiation therapy (SFRT) techniques for bulky invasive tumors. It has been hypothesized that GRID RT improves the therapeutic ratio by minimizing normal tissue toxicities associated with treating bulky volumes while inducing abscopal radiobiologic effects.

Abstract Radiotherapy has played an essential role in cancer treatment for over a century, and remains one of the best-studied methods of cancer treatment. Because of its close links with the physical sciences, it has been the subject of extensive quantitative mathematical modelling, but a complete understanding of the mechanisms of ...

Light Quantity Impacts Early Response to Cold and Cold Acclimation in Young Leaves of Arabidopsis
ABSTRACT Plant reactions to stress vary with development stage and fitness. This study assessed the relationship between light and chilling stress in Arabidopsis acclimation. By analysing the transcriptome and proteome responses of expanding leaves subjected to varying light intensity and cold, 2251 and 2064 early response genes and proteins were ...
