Small field dose correction factors for radiochromic film in lung phantoms.
PURPOSE Radiochromic film has been established as a detector that can be used without the need for perturbation correction factors for small field dosimetry in water. However perturbation factors in low density media such as lung have yet to be published.

Radiochromic film dosimetry in water phantoms [PDF]
Radiochromic film is investigated for use in dosimetry in water phantoms as opposed to solid phantoms. Investigations are performed to measure the penetration rates of water into radiochromic film and to assess the effects on optical density that this penetration causes.

Surface and buildup region dose measurements with Markus parallel-plate ionization chamber, Gafchromic EBT3 film and MOSFET detector for high energy photon beams [PDF]
The aim of the study was to investigate surface and buildup region doses for 6MV and 15MV photon beams using a Markus parallel-plate ionization chamber, GafChromic EBT3 film, and MOSFET detector for different field sizes and beam angles. The measurements

Model selection for radiochromic film dosimetry [PDF]
The purpose of this study was to find the most accurate model for radiochromic film dosimetry by comparing different channel independent perturbation models. A model selection approach based on (algorithmic) information theory was followed, and the results were validated using gamma-index analysis on a set of benchmark test cases.

Measurement of CT radiation beam width with a pencil ionization chamber and radiopaque mask. [PDF]
Abstract Purpose This study compares fan beam CT scanner radiation beam widths measured with a pencil ionization chamber‐radiopaque mask technique with commonly used film and computed radiography (CR) measurements. Methods For a given fan beam CT scanner x‐ray beam, the ionization chamber‐mask technique determines the radiation beam width by exposing a
