Radiofrequency Ablation in Metastatic Disease
2005The liver is the most common site of metastas from colorectal cancer. Hepatic metastases are the major cause of morbidity and mortality in those patients. Surgical resection provides the greatest potential for cure in patients with secondary liver tumors but can be offered to only a small number of patients (5%-20%).
