Gallstone Ileus: a Surgical Emergency Presentation

Left Medial Liver Lobe Torsion Associated With Hepatocellular Carcinoma in a Pembroke Welsh Corgi: A Case Report. [PDF]

In a 12‐year‐old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, hepatocellular carcinoma was associated with left medial liver lobe torsion, with the torsion axis located at the base of the mass rather than at the hepatic hilus. Computed tomography revealed a whirl sign at this atypical site, enabling preoperative diagnosis and surgical planning.
