Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1970Abstract The spectral sensitivity of a widely used dental x-ray film was found to be at a maximum for photons in the 35 to 55 Kev. range. This chapter explains the physics of digital radiography, the advantages of digital systems versus analog film, and the minor adjustments needed for its use.
