An FPGA Implementation of Convolutional Spiking Neural Networks for Radioisotope Identification [PDF]
This paper details the FPGA implementation methodology for Convolutional Spiking Neural Networks (CSNN) and applies this methodology to low-power radioisotope identification using high-resolution data. Power consumption of 75 mW has been achieved on an FPGA implementation of a CSNN, with an inference accuracy of 90.62% on a synthetic dataset.

Molybdenum Sinter-Cladding of Solid Radioisotope Targets
In solid targets for radioisotope production, the parent materials—mostly metallic—are usually attached to a substrate (metal part, often copper or silver) to support it during handling and irradiation and to facilitate liquid or gas cooling ...

Hair radioactivity as a measure of exposure to radioisotopes [PDF]
Since many radioisotopes accumulate in hair, this tropism was investigated by comparing the radioactivity of shaved with plucked hair collected from rats at various time intervals up to 24 hrs after intravenous injection of the ecologically important ...

Absorption and mobility of radio-labelled calcium in chili pepper plants and sweet cherry trees
: Calcium (Ca) is often supplied to crop species to prevent the occurrence of Ca–related disorders. Mechanisms of Ca absorption and transport are not fully understood and the effectiveness of root and/or foliar Ca fertilization may be variable.

Abstract Purpose Cardiac motion may degrade dose distribution during stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation using the CyberKnife system, a robotic radiosurgery system. This study evaluated the dose distribution changes using a self‐made cardiac dynamic platform that mimics cardiac motion. Methods The cardiac dynamic platform was operated with amplitudes

Production of radioisotopes within a plasma focus device [PDF]
In recent years, research conducted in the US and in Italy has demonstrated production of radioisotopes in plasma focus devices, and particularly, on what could be termed "endogenous" production, to wit, production within the plasma it self, as opposed ...

Excitation functions of proton induced nuclear reactions on natW up to 40 MeV [PDF]
Excitation functions for the production of the 181,182m,182g,183,184g,186Re and 183,184Ta radionuclides from proton bombardment on natural tungsten were measured using the stacked-foil activation technique for the proton energies up to 40 MeV. A new data
