CDMA multiuser radiolocation

2010 IEEE 21st International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications Workshops, 2010
Wireless location refers to obtaining the position information of a mobile subscriber in a cellular environment. Such positioning information is usually provided in terms of geographic coordinates of the mobile subscriber with respect to a geographic reference point.

The C.H. radiolocation transmitters

Journal of the Institution of Electrical Engineers - Part IIIA: Radiolocation, 1946
A general description is given of the development work leading up to the final design of the C.H.-type Radiolocation Transmitters for the Air Ministry. Early modulation schemes are mentioned and reasons given for changes in circuits to meet operational requirements.

Radiolocation Experiments in an Urban Environment

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 1970
Many new urban applications of radiolocation technology in both cooperative and noncooperative forms are anticipated in law enforcement and urban planning fields. Until recently, virtually no data were available regarding passive radiolocation of urban targets by conventional techniques such as direction finding.

Raydist systems for radiolocation and tracking

Electrical Engineering, 1953
Several radio systems have been developed for locating a ship's position on the earth's surface and for tracking it. The measurement of phase, as is done in the Raydist systems, offers accuracies which exceed those of other methods.

Digital model of radiolocation scattering by sea surface when it is probed by coastal radiolocation station

Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2009
It is synthesized on a heuristic level a simplified variant of digital model of radiolocation scattering of a signal, when sea surface is probed. This model takes into account technical parameters and real geometric dimensions of coastal radiolocation station situation.

Radionavigation and radiolocation

1999
There are no frequency allocations for the radiodetermination service (RDS) itself but there are many for its specialised subdivisions. Many of the stations of this family of services are categorised with the radionavigation service (RNS) which is further subdivided between the maritime and the aeronautical radionavigation services (MRNS and ARNS ...

The investigation of physical influence on signal type chirp distortions on radiolocation proprieties of radiolocating signals

2008 Conference on Human System Interactions, 2008
In the article the results of simulation and investigations of the influence of the shift between signals ldquoIrdquo and ldquoQrdquo on location proprieties of the chirp signal have been discussed. Weight Hamming function and rectangular function have been used for the investigations.

Current problems of meteorological radiolocation

Journal of Communications Technology and Electronics, 2016
The specific features of meteorological radiolocation and its state of the art are discussed. The characteristics of weather radars manufactured by all companies leading in this field are compared. The problems facing weather radars and possible methods of their solution are determined.

Dual antenna array for radiolocation of RCIED trigger

2014 Twentieth National Conference on Communications (NCC), 2014
We describe a dual-antenna design for use in radiolocation of remote controlled improvised explosive device (IED) triggers in the 136–174 MHz frequency band. Each antenna array consists of 8 dipole-fed corner reflector antennas mounted in a circular array, radiating mainly in azimuth and elevation planes respectively.
