Scanner‐agnostic artificial intelligence approach for fast bone scintigraphy

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract Purpose Current bone scintigraphy protocols often demand full‐count, 10–15 min scans to preserve image quality, and existing deep‐learning (DL) denoisers typically need to be retrained or retuned for each camera manufacturer. We introduce a scanner‐agnostic adaptive‐diffusion U‐Net designed to reconstruct diagnostic‐grade images from half‐time

Diagnostic Performance of Comprehensive Point‐of‐Care Ultrasound for Pediatric Tuberculosis in Spain: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, Volume 54, Issue 6, Page 1425-1432, July/August 2026.
In children with presumptive tuberculosis, comprehensive point‐of‐care (cPOCUS) identified key thoracic abnormalities with high specificity and excellent inter‐reader reliability. Although diagnostic sensitivity was modest and examinations often incomplete, cPOCUS shows promise as a complementary, radiation‐free imaging tool.

Increased medial anterior tibial translation and reduced tibiofemoral rotation are observed during weight bearing in anterior cruciate ligament‐deficient knees: A paired within‐subject imaging analysis

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Orthopaedics, Volume 13, Issue 3, July 2026.
Abstract Purpose To evaluate the effect of weight‐bearing computed tomography (WBCT) on knee kinematics in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)‐deficient knees using a within‐subject comparison between WBCT and non–weight‐bearing conditions (NWBCT). Methods This was a prospective within‐subject observational imaging study.
