Laser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.Band degeneracies universally exist in 2D periodic systems. However, the studies on the intrinsic properties of those isolated points remain limited. By exploring 3D chiral perturbations, chiral quasi‐BICs are achieved through a Γ‐point degeneracy in resonant metasurfaces with C4 symmetry.
