Low‐Activation Compositionally Complex Alloys for Advanced Nuclear Applications—A Review
Low‐activation compositionally complex alloys (LACCAs) are advanced metallic materials primarily composed of low‐activation elements, offering advantages such as rapid compliance with operational standards and safe recyclability. This review highlights their potential for extreme high‐temperature irradiation environments as structural materials for ...

Trees with distinguishing number two
The distinguishing number of a graph is the least integer such that has a vertex labeling with labels that is preserved only by a trivial automorphism. In this paper we characterize all trees with radius at most three and distinguishing number two.

The decomposable numerical radius and numerical radius of a compound matrix
AbstractLet A be an n × n complex matrix with singular values α1 ⩾ α2 ⩾ ⋯ ⩾ αn and eigenvalues λ1, λ2,…,λn, where |λ1| ⩾ |λ2| ⩾ ⋯ ⩾ |λn|. Denote by Cm (A) (1 ⩽ m ⩽ n) the mth compound of A, and by ⋀mCn the mth Grassmann space over Cn, in which the elements are regarded as complex row vectors with nm coordinates.

This article investigates optimal processing conditions for the laser‐based powder bed fusion of WE43. To limit the interaction with remaining oxygen, a 3 vol% hydrogen admixture to the inert gas is investigated. Furthermore, heat treatments are investigated in the range of 250–350 °C for 48 h.

Simultaneous ipsilateral fractures of distal and proximal ends of the radius
We treated a patient with a rare combination of ipsilateral fractures of the distal and proximal ends of the radius. A man aged 42 years had simultaneous fractures of the distal and proximal ends of the radius (radial neck) following a roadside accident.

This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

This study presents rapid evaluation methods for scan strategies in powder bed fusion (PBF) of polymers with a NIR laser as an example for its application. It uses line buffer‐based calculations and point density fields to predict the performance of four different scan strategies. The methods show promising results in laser‐based PBF of polymer samples,
