A manifesto for plant science education
Plants provide oxygen, food, shelter, medicines and environmental services, without which human society could not exist. Tackling pressing and global challenges requires well‐trained plant scientists and plant‐aware individuals. This manifesto provides a practical evidence‐based vision to strengthen plant science education, focussed on five strategic ...

Future heatwave conditions inhibit CO2‐induced stomatal closure in wheat
Summary As global temperatures and the severity of droughts continue to increase, food crops will more frequently experience high vapour pressure deficit (VPD) during heatwave events. However, the interactive effects of rising atmospheric CO2 and high‐VPD heatwaves on crop water fluxes and yields are currently unknown.

Cities are getting hotter because of climate change and urban development, increasing risks to health and well‐being. We analyzed how increasing urban tree canopy cover in city areas of 900 m2 can reduce land surface temperatures, using detailed aerial‐LiDAR and satellite data with Bayesian hierarchical models.

Design of an FPGA‐Based Composite Digital Filter for Eliminating ECG Noises
The Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a graphical representation of the electrical activity of the heart that is captured through a non‐invasive process and is used to monitor the state of the heart. Because of its low power, ECG signal is often contaminated with different types of noises. Noisy ECG recording often leads to misinterpretation of heart disease.
