Surface Micro‐Discharge Plasma for Multiple Teeth Bleaching: Efficacy, Mechanism and Safety
ABSTRACT Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is the commonly‐used bleaching chemical in clinical practice, but its excessive concentrations can cause tooth damage. Atmospheric pressure cold plasma is considered a promising new technique for tooth bleaching. Surface micro‐discharge (SMD) devices can generate large‐scale plasma, which holds potential for treating ...

Measurement of radon in soils of Lima City - Peru during the period 2016-2017
Lima City is situated on alluvial fan deposits of rivers flowing through geological formations that contain different levels of uranium. In this paper, a study is made on the average spatial and temporal behavior of radon gas in soils of Lima City. Radon

ABSTRACT As one of the important links in energy transition and global energy interconnection, electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming increasingly major research topics in the field of energy. Partial discharge (PD) identification under repetitive impulsive voltages plays a pivotal role in evaluating the health of electric vehicle (EV) motor insulation ...

Large‐Scale Applications of Plasma Technologies: Progresses and Challenges
ABSTRACT Plasma technologies convert electrical power into energetic electrons, ions, reactive species, radiation and heat, thereby breaking through the bottleneck of purely thermal or chemical routes and bringing impressive changes to our world. This roadmap reviews the progress and challenges of plasma technologies from a large‐scale and application ...

Determination of the one‐electron reduced Wigner function for a molecular crystal
The first reconstruction of an experimental one‐particle reduced Wigner function for electrons in molecular crystals is reported. It relies on an ensemble N‐representable model jointly refined from the X‐ray diffraction and Compton scattering data. The Wigner function provides a complete phase‐space representation of a quantum state.

The radon gas. An air pollutant
In this work different aspects about the problem of the radon in dwellings are approached. This gas of natural origin is virtually present in all the soils in the earth’s crust due to the presence of uranium and radium in the composition of them. Depending on architectural factors and of occupancy habits of the house, high concentrations of this gas ...
