Innovations in Simulation: Scaffolding a Triage Experience

open access: yesJournal of Midwifery &Women's Health, EarlyView.
Abstract Certified midwives, certified nurse‐midwives, and women's health nurse practitioners (WHNPs) play a vital role in triaging pregnant patients in the ambulatory and inpatient settings. Demonstrating proficiency with this skill set requires time and experience.

Partial Radon transforms

IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 1997
This article formally defines partial Radon transforms for functions of more than two dimensions. It shows that a generalized projection-slice theorem exists which connects planar and hyperplanar projections of a function to its Fourier transform. In addition, a general theoretical framework is provided for carrying out n-dimensional backprojection ...

Fractional Radon transform: definition

Applied Optics, 1996
In this paper a novel fractional transformation for which we coin the term the fractional Radon transform is defined. This transform generalizes the Radon transform and combines it with the fractional Fourier transform. Both transformations are useful tools for invariant pattern recognition, tomography, and signal processing.
