The ultrahard teeth of mollusks that feed on rocky substrates contain a wear‐resistant coating on their surfaces consisting of densely packed mesocrystalline magnetic nanoparticles within an organic matrix. These coatings display significant hardness and toughness through their highly controlled mesocrystalline architectures.

PENGARUH KEGIATAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KUALITAS AIR HUJAN SETEMPAT Studi Kasus di Kota Surabaya
: Rainwater is source of principal water for living and life. It has not been managed optimally, for instance there was flooding at rainy season and dryness at dry season. The rainwater was wasted, flew to the sea to be brine. It is good idea if the rain

WATER CONSERVATION BY RAIN WATER HARVESTING
Water resources scarcity is a major topic of global discussion in recent years. The reasons for water scarcity are misallocation, misuse and degradation of water. Sustainable water management is one of the paramount importance for maintaining economic prosperity and ecological balance. Rain water is the primary source of water. Ponds, lakes, rivers and

Influence of Foliar Exposure, Adjuvants, and Rain-free Period on the Efficacy of Glyphosate for Torpedograss Control [PDF]
The proportion of torpedograss tissue exposed to glyphosate at application rates of 0.28, 0.56, 1.12, 2.24, and 4.48 kg/ha affected control as measured by regrowth. The effect of tissue exposure was more pronounced as application rate decreased.

Bio‐based bionic spider silk and spider web are first prepared using polyelectrolyte complexation technique for the simultaneous harvesting of water and triboelectric energy. The advantage of this process lies on entirely bio‐based materials, fully green water‐processable procedures, extremely high production rate (99.36%), excellent fog harvesting ...

Fluorine‐Free Soft Nanocomposites for High‐Speed Liquid Impact Repellence
Fluorine‐free soft nanocomposite coatings are developed using silicone oil‐mediated mechanical‐stiffness control, enabling ‘dry’ liquid‐repellent surfaces that resist high‐speed water jet impacts up to ∼60 m/s. By tuning nanoparticle loading and oil content, the coatings also achieve >90% optical transparency, amphiphobicity with impact resistance to ...
