Masonry’s Resistance to Driving Rain: Mortar Water Content and Impregnation
Alongside well-researched themes such as water and moisture, the service life and function of masonry veneers are often compromised by precipitation combined with poor design considerations, execution, and selection of materials. Little research has been

This review maps how MOFs can manage hazardous gases by combining adsorption, neutralization, and reutilization, enabling sustainable air‐pollution control. Covering chemical warfare agent simulants, SO2, NOx, NH3, H2S, and volatile organic compounds, it highlights structure‐guided strategies that boost selectivity, water tolerance, and cycling ...

Forest influence on the surface water chemistry of granitic basins receiving acid precipitation in the Vosges massif, France [PDF]
This study shows the influence of acid rain on the chemistry of surface waters in two small basins. The basins present similar altitudes and climates, only one is forested, and the forest decline has been clearly established.

Investigation of the concentration and isotopic composition of inputs and outputs of Pb in waters at an upland catchment in NE Scotland [PDF]
As a consequence of the accumulation of anthropogenic Pb in upland catchments, there has been much recent concern about the potential mobilisation and transport of Pb from the soils to receiving waters and also the possible harmful effects that this ...

Plastically flexible single crystals of the bimetallic phosphonate framework [Cu(2,2′‐bpy)VO(O3PC6H5)2] combine mechanical adaptability with robust pseudocapacitive charge storage. The material delivers about 140 Fg−1 at pH 4 and pH 10 and remains stable across pH 2‐12, enabling energy storage under comparatively mild electrolyte conditions.
