The Development of A mathematical Model to Predict Runoff From A micro-catchment under High Water Application Rates [PDF]
Current trends in sprinkler irrigation to improve application uniformity and reduce energy requirements haste led to problems of water application and potential surface runoff, which in turn have highlighted the importance of the soil and cultivation

Ensemble evaluation of hydrological model hypotheses [PDF]
It is demonstrated for the first time how model parameter, structural and data uncertainties can be accounted for explicitly and simultaneously within the Generalized Likelihood Uncertainty Estimation (GLUE) methodology.

Detection, Attribution and Projection of Precipitation Structure Changes Over Northwest China
The precipitation structure shows a change trend of ‘the frequency of light precipitation decreased and the intensity of heavy precipitation increased’; attribution analysis shows that greenhouse gas forcing (GHG) is the main driving factor of precipitation structure change, and the model underestimates its impact, while aerosol forcing (AER) and ...

Climatology and Trends of Sub‐Daily Precipitation Extremes in Croatia
Sub‐daily extreme precipitation indices reveal pronounced spatial variability, with the highest intensities and frequencies across the Adriatic region and the highlands. Seasonal and diurnal patterns highlight distinct regional behaviour, including summer maxima over the continental interior and nocturnal or early‐morning peaks along the Adriatic coast.

Fully differentiable, fully distributed rainfall-runoff modeling [PDF]
Traditional hydrological modeling simulates rainfall-runoff process dynamics using process-based models (PBMs). PBMs are grounded in physical laws and therefore highly interpretable.

A soil-based approach to rainfall-runoff modelling in ungauged catchments for England and Wales [PDF]
Hydrological models are powerful tools for the investigation of many hydrological issues. The historical approach for the development of rainfall-runoff models, with regard to the choice of model structure and the calibration of the free parameters ...

Variability in the Mobilization of Sediment and Phosphorus across 13 European Soils. [PDF]
The objectives of this study were to examine the variability in mobilization and transport of primary particles and associated total phosphorus (TP) in sediments eroded by overland flow from 13 European arable soils and to consider the empirical support ...

Changing Water Resources in the Indus Basin: A Multi‐Model Budyko‐Based Analysis
Budyko‐based analysis evaluates historical (1962–2005) and future hydroclimatic change across the Indus River Basin. Budyko shifts indicate rising atmospheric evaporative demand and increasing energy limitation under future scenarios. ABSTRACT Assessing hydroclimatic variability and future water availability is crucial for sustainable water‐resource ...

ABSTRACT The Greek peninsula lies at the intersection of major atmospheric circulation systems, making it a key location for reconstructing past climate variability in the Eastern Mediterranean. In this study, we present a new high‐resolution multi‐proxy speleothem record from Hermes Cave, located on the shoulder of the Corinth Rift in southern Greece.
