To understand the influence of rainfall patterns on rainfall–runoff processes, we propose two indices: skewnessPEAK (skewp), representing the relative timing of peak rainfall, and the normalized root-mean-square error peak (NRMSEp), which quantifies the concentration of rainfall near the peak.

ABSTRACT Drought is among the most severe and persistent threats to food supply chains, and relocating production to less drought‐prone regions offers a strategy to reduce this risk. This is particularly relevant for fresh vegetables, which are highly water‐intensive, yet drought‐driven reconfiguration strategies remain understudied.

Rainfall Index as a Measure of Change of Rainfall
An attempt has been made to develop a measure of change of rainfall in a region from one situation to another situation in general and from one period to another period in particular. This article has been prepared to describe this measure along with its numerical application in the context of change of rainfall in Assam from the period 2009 - 2011 to

Overview of the proposed Gate‐Align‐SED, including two stages of training: (1) Mean‐Teacher SSL Training; and (2) Enhancer Model Training. In complex real‐world environments such as disaster monitoring, effective sound event detection (SED) is often hindered by the presence of noise and limited labeled data.

An instance‐level, model‐agnostic explanation of class differentiation is introduced through SHAP‐LCD, linking probability shifts to feature‐wise Shapley contributions. The method operates on tabular and image data and is released in a fully reproducible implementation, offering a transparent way to examine, at each instance, why predictive models ...

Rainfall prediction in the northeast region of Thailand using Cooperative Neuro-Fuzzy Technique
Accurate rainfall forecasting is a crucial task for reservoir operation and flood prevention because it can provide an extension of lead-time for flow forecasting. This study proposes two rainfall time series prediction models, the Single Fuzzy Inference
