HyLPD Digital Twin Control for UAV Stability in High‐Wind Conditions
This work introduces a novel HyLPD, a hybrid control framework combining Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) for baseline stability and Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) for adaptive compensation, tailored for UAVs under high‐wind conditions.

Time to burn: landscape drivers of fuel trait variability and fire regime in savanna ecosystems
Fuel traits are important determinants of fire behavior and regime in savannas and, thus, of how fire affects plant communities. However, whether these traits are correlated, predictable and how they are influenced by biotic and abiotic drivers remain to be rigorously evaluated.

Animal breeding phenology in temperate and high latitude regions is often predicted by weather variables, such as temperature. Much work on this topic has focused on taxonomic groups that employ adaptive plastic responses to annual variation in an environmental cue, with analytical approaches developed to determine when weather has an effect and the ...

The recovery of large carnivores offers unique opportunities to study their cascading impacts on plant population dynamics. Medium‐sized carnivores, both prey and seed dispersers, are suppressed by apex predators, indirectly increasing seed‐eating rodent's populations and potentially altering plant establishment.
