Regulated Ion‐Diffusion Hydrogels for Subtle and Multimodal Temperature‐Strain Sensing in Wound Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Intelligent Acousto‐Electrical Metamaterials (IAM) for Sound Source Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Our proposed metamaterial concept enables sound source detection using a single material, in contrast to conventional arrays that require dozens or even hundreds of transducers. We show that the coupled acoustic–vibrational–electrical responses in piezoelectric metamaterials give rise to topology‐governed charge transport, producing distinct voltage ...

Rainfall Distribution Pattern of Progo Watershed in Observational and Empirical Method [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2019
Automatic Rainfall Recorder (ARR) has not been widely available in Indonesia, so data of rainfall is available in the form of daily rainfall. To know the pattern of rainfall distribution in a watershed, there are two methods, they are the observational ...

Spatial Patterns of Pulmonary Tuberculosis Analysing Rainfall Patterns in Visual Formation [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Public Health Science (IJPHS), 2018
Management sustainability related tuberculosis patient treatment was limited. Tuberculosis analysis was still in the form of data aggregation. This is cross sectional survey using geographical information system, analyzed by descriptive methods, the sample included 162 pulmonary tuberrculosis patient in 2014.

Elephant‐Skin‐Inspired Porous Cementitious Tiles with Programmable Crack Networks for Passive Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Rainfall patterns and land use changes on temporal flood vulnerability in Purworejo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia

open access: yesJournal of Degraded and Mining Lands Management
Land use changes and rainfall can trigger inundation. This study aimed to observe the dynamics of spatial patterns of temporal flood vulnerability due to rainfall and land use changes using the Maximum Entropy (MaxEnt) Model.

Influence of Rainfall Patterns on Rainfall–Runoff Processes: Indices for the Quantification of Temporal Distribution of Rainfall

open access: yesWater
To understand the influence of rainfall patterns on rainfall–runoff processes, we propose two indices: skewnessPEAK (skewp), representing the relative timing of peak rainfall, and the normalized root-mean-square error peak (NRMSEp), which quantifies the concentration of rainfall near the peak.

Droplet Electricity Generators With Maximized Energy Collection Zone Enabled by Aloe‐Inspired Midrib and Cuticle

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An Aloe‐pinspired droplet electricity generator (A‐DEG) overcomes the limited energy collection zone of conventional DEGs by guiding impact droplets through a channeling midrib and artificial cuticle. The channeling midrib induces uni‐directional droplet spreading, while the artificial cuticle on the midrib further reinforces this behavior through its ...
