Modeling the impacts of grazing management on livestock behavior and performance: A case study in the Peruvian Andes

open access: yesGrassland Research, EarlyView.
Our modeling study shows that livestock management strongly influences grazing behavior and animal performance in the Peruvian Andes. Furthermore, adjusting stocking rates and improving animal distribution can enhance forage intake and body condition while increasing forage biomass.

Warm‐wet transition restructures arid lake microbiomes and functional potential

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
This study summarizes how a long‐term warm‐dry to warm‐wet transition restructures microbiomes and functional potential in Lake Bosten, an arid lake in northwestern China. Warm‐wet hydroclimatic change increased water level and hydrological connectivity, while decreasing salinity and total nitrogen.

Climate change amplifies global mycotoxin exposure: Emerging risks and sustainable solutions

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Climate change intensifies mycotoxin contamination through rising temperatures, elevated CO2, and altered precipitation. Global surveys reveal a high and widespread prevalence of major mycotoxins in staple cereals, with low‐income countries bearing the greatest burden.

Architecting nano‐Al/HMX/CuO energetic micro‐units unlocks superior interface and highly efficient combustion

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Improving the dispersion of nano‐aluminum is of great importance in explosives and propellants. The spherical Al/HMX/CuO energetic micro‐units were prepared using microchannel technology, which significantly improved the uniformity and dispersion of nano‐Al. It also enhanced the mass and heat transfer efficiency between the fuel and oxidizer components,
