CENTRAL MONTANA RAINSTORMS AND FLOODS JUNE 6–15, 1967

Monthly Weather Review, 1968
Abstract The meteorological features associated with the greatest flood of record (June 6–15, 1967) in the Central Musselshell River Valley of Montana are examined and the flooding and rainfall distribution are described and compared with other Eastern Montana flood-producing storms. Applications of RADAR to forecasting this flood are discussed.

Household economic resilience to catastrophic rainstorms and flooding in a Chinese megacity

Geographical Research, 2016
AbstractMegacities situated on flood plains face escalating risks of waterlogging and inundation. Tianjin is one of these megacities in China where residents are exposed to these risks and not well prepared for their consequences. Government policies should support the most vulnerable and less resilient groups.

Determination of the maximum run‐off sediment transport capacity during a rainstorm flood in a small watershed on the Loess Plateau

Earth Surface Processes and Landforms, 2023
The channel sediment transport capacity is an important parameter in soil erosion models, and it determines the proportion of soil erosion that is sent outside the watershed.

Dynamic building risk assessment theoretic model for rainstorm-flood utilization ABM and ABS

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
Flood is one of natural disasters with the worst loss in the world. It needs to assess flood disaster risk so that we can reduce the loss of flood disaster. Disaster management practical work needs the dynamic risk results of building. Rainstorm flood disaster system is a typical complex system.
