Advanced Science, EarlyView.Dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP) is a major marine organosulfur compound central to climate‐relevant dimethyl sulfide (DMS) production. In Halomonas sp. D47, DMSP catabolism is revealed to be coordinated by two transcriptional regulators, AcuR and AcuZ, which control gene expression by sensing DMSP and its metabolites.

Global Nitrogen Deposition Promotes Carbon Sink Formation in Terrestrial Ecosystems
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Nitrogen deposition alleviates ecosystem N limitation and enhances carbon sinks. Using 829 observations, we show 36% of deposited N is retained globally (39.15 Tg N yr−1), with distinct NHx and NOy contributions. Advanced Science, EarlyView.A smart power‐generating coating is developed to harvest energy from both ambient humidity and impacting liquid droplets. The integrated system delivers sustained open‐circuit voltages of 0.85 V from moisture and up to 36 V from droplets. Its scalable coating architecture enables a continuous power supply for low‐power electronic devices.
