High Entropy Wide‐Bandgap Borates with Broadband Luminescence and Large Nonlinear Optical properties
High‐entropy rare‐earth borates exhibit excellent nonlinear optical and broadband luminescence properties arising from multi‐component doping, chemical disorder, increased configurational entropy, and increased lattice and electronic anharmonicity. This formulation enabled us to obtain a large, environmentally stable single crystal with 3X higher laser‐

This work provides a novel interpretation of the nitrate reduction mechanism on iron oxides (FeOx) by employing constant‐potential density functional calculations and reports the design and synthesis of a robust and high‐performance Fe3O4/Fe‐N4‐C catalyst with remarkable Faradaic efficiency, current density, and stability under practical reaction ...

Effect of inelastic collisions on multiphonon Raman scattering in graphene
We calculate the probabilities of two- and four-phonon Raman scattering in graphene and show how the relative intensities of the overtone peaks encode information about relative rates of different inelastic processes electrons are subject to. If the most

Deterministic hBN Bubbles as a Versatile Platform for Studies on Single‐Photon Emitters
Single‐photon emitters (SPEs) in hBN are promising for quantum technologies; however, in exfoliated samples their activation is required, limiting reproducibility of previous studies. This work introduces a large‐area MOVPE‐grown hBN platform that hosts SPEs without prior activation.

Resonant hyper-Raman scattering in spherical quantum dots
A theoretical model of resonant hyper-Raman scattering by an ensemble of spherical semiconductor quantum dots has been developed. The electronic intermediate states are described as Wannier-Mott excitons in the framework of the envelope function ...

An optimized carbon host nanostructure enables a dual‐interface‐dominant architecture in sulfur cathodes of solid‐state Li‐S batteries by selectively forming sulfur|carbon and sulfur|solid electrolyte interfaces. This tailored interfacial configuration accelerates sulfur redox kinetics by establishing enriched Li+/e– transport networks, while ...

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Advancements in Neurosurgical Intraoperative Histology
Despite their relatively low incidence globally, central nervous system (CNS) tumors remain amongst the most lethal cancers, with only a few other malignancies surpassing them in 5-year mortality rates.

Theory of plasmon decay in dense plasmas and warm dense matter
The decay of the Langmuir waves in dense plasmas is not accurately predicted by the prevalent Landau damping theory. A dielectric function theory is introduced, predicting much higher damping than the Landau damping theory.
