Dual‐Salt Carbothermal Shock Strategy Enabling Ultrafast and Sustainable Regeneration of Spent LiFePO4 Cathode Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) accounts for over 50% of the global cathode market, underscoring the need for efficient recycling and regeneration. We propose a dual‐salt carbothermal shock (CTS) strategy using LiI and NaI to in situ repair Li vacancies.

Vibrational spectroscopy via stimulated Raman induced Kerr lensing

open access: yesAPL Photonics, 2018
We present a new method for the measurement of the stimulated Raman spectrum based on time-dependent spatial modulation of a laser beam as it passes through a Raman active medium.

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

Identification of biomolecules by mechanical modulation Raman microscopy

open access: yes, 2013
textRaman microscopy is a tool used by physicists to collect molecular information from a wide variety of samples. Biophysicists have increasingly made use of Raman microscopy in combination with optical tweezers to identify the molecular makeup of ...

Raman spectrum of diamond

open access: yes, 1945
The new approach to the dynamics of crystal lattices made by Sir C. V. Raman leads in the case of diamond to the result that the atomic vibration spectrum of this crystal should exhibit eight distinct monochromatic frequencies.

The Ni,Cd Heteroatoms‐Initiated Synergistic Tuning of Electron Configuration in Fe2VO4 Nanosheets Electrocatalysts to Profoundly Stabilize Alkaline Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Ni,Cd‐codoped Fe2VO4/NF bifunctional electrocatalyst is rationally designed for efficient seawater electrolysis. Synergistic effect modulates electron configuration, optimizes intermediates adsorption, stabilizes high‐valence Fe/V sites, and repels chloride ions to suppress corrosion and side reactions, thus contributing to performance improvement of

Experimental Polarizability Transition Moments of CO2 for Excited Vibrational States

open access: yesMolecules
The Raman spectrum of CO2 from room temperature to 1800 K has been measured in a series of experiments. The differential Raman scattering cross-sections for the fundamental bands at 1285.41 cm−1 and 1388.18 cm−1 have been obtained from reference bands of

Dipole‐Engineered Conductive Additives for Ultrastable Interphase Evolution in High‐Areal‐Capacity Silicon Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In the work reported herein, dipole‐engineered sulfonated carbon nanofibers enable conductive additives to actively regulate interphase formation in silicon anodes. Polar sulfonyl groups guide electrolyte decomposition to form a compact LiF‐rich interphase while promoting robust integration with silicon.
