Composite (DMA): This study examines the alkali treatment effect on Borassus husk fiber‐reinforced epoxy composites. Alkali treatment improves mechanical properties, including increased storage modulus, glass transition temperature, and damping factor, especially for 0.75‐h treated fiber/epoxy composite.

Pada saat ini proses pengolahan serat rami menjadi China grass dilakukan dengan menggunakan proses secara fisika dan kimia. Hasilnya cukup balk, tetapi proses ini menghasilkan limbah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah limbah tersebut dengan mengolah serat rami menggunakan mikroorganisme, pada proses delignifikasi dan degumming.
