Alkali treatment improves mechanical properties, including increased storage modulus, glass transition temperature, and damping factor, especially for 0.75‐h treated fiber/epoxy composite.

Jurnal Kimia dan Kemasan, 2018 Pada saat ini proses pengolahan serat rami menjadi China grass dilakukan dengan menggunakan proses secara fisika dan kimia. Hasilnya cukup balk, tetapi proses ini menghasilkan limbah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah limbah tersebut dengan mengolah serat rami menggunakan mikroorganisme, pada proses delignifikasi dan degumming.
