Multiple canals in the rami of a mandible
Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1972Abstract An interesting juvenile mandible is described in which multiple foramina on the internal surface of each ramus were cannulated with wires in an attempt to determine the destination of the canals. On each side, one foramen was located 17 mm. above the mandibular foramen at the base of the coronoid process behind the crista endocoronoidea, and

Mechanical and ballistic performance of ramie fiber-reinforced polymer composites: A review
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering ScienceNatural fiber composites (NFCs) have seen an increased innovation and research activities due to their strength, environmental impact, and low cost. NFCs are used in aerospace, construction, leisure, packing, sport, and automotive industries.

Electrical properties of ramie fibres
Journal of Materials Science Letters, 1990We make a in-depth systematic study of the electrical properties of powdered ramie fibre samples instead of a bundle of fibres, under different conditions, to achieve a better understanding of the structure property relation in this cellulosic ...

Effects of surface treatment of ramie fibers in a ramie/poly(lactic acid) composite
Fibers and Polymers, 2012The chemical and morphological properties of ramie fibers treated by chemical surface modification were examined with Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The mechanical and thermal decomposition properties were evaluated with respect to tensile strength, tensile modulus and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).

The Clinical Anatomy of the Cervical Dorsal Rami
Spine, 1982A detailed description of the anatomy of the cervical dorsal rami is provided on the basis of the past literature and independent studies on five cadavers. In particular, the anatomy of the upper cervical dorsal rami and the innervation of the cervical zygapophyseal joints are described.
