To accelerate the inverse design of heterostructured metal matrix composites, a closed‐loop scientific machine learning framework integrates continual learning prediction with NSGA‐II‐PMCP optimization. The framework maps microstructural descriptors to strength, toughness, and modulus, expands high‐quality Pareto solutions, and guides experimentally ...

Basic phenomena and laws in structural-functional organisation of heart-vessels
Investigations are aimed at studying the blood circulation biomechanics, the physical mechanisms of the cardiovascular system transport function, and regularities of branching and dichotomic division and merging of blood flows at the level of ...

Reducing the database space overhead is critical in big-data processing. In this paper, we revisit oblivious RAM (ORAM) using big-data standard for the database space overhead. ORAM is a cryptographic primitive that enables users to perform arbitrary database accesses without revealing the access pattern to the server.

Computational simulations of tumor evolution are increasingly used to infer the rules underlying cancer growth, with the goal of one day recommending tailored treatments. Here we show that the properties of lung cancer sequencing data are best replicated by a model which assumes that cells compete both to proliferate and survive. ABSTRACT Computational
