Enhancing Volatility Prediction: A Wavelet‐Based Hierarchical Forecast Reconciliation Approach

open access: yesJournal of Forecasting, Volume 45, Issue 4, Page 1652-1664, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Forecasting realized volatility (RV) has been widely studied, with numerous techniques developed to enhance predictive accuracy. Among these techniques, the use of RV decompositions based on intraday asset returns has been applied. However, the use of a frequency‐based decomposition, which provides unique insights into the dynamics of RV ...

R ( 5 , 5 ) ≤ 46

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, Volume 112, Issue 3, Page 198-208, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Ramsey number R ( 5 , 5 ) is less than or equal to 46. The proof uses a combination of linear programming and checking a large number of cases by computer. All of the computational parts of the proof were independently implemented by both authors, with consistent results.

Treewidth Versus Clique Number. V. Further Connections With Tree‐Independence Number

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, Volume 112, Issue 3, Page 337-351, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We continue the study of ( tw , ω )‐bounded graph classes, that is, hereditary graph classes in which large treewidth is witnessed by the presence of a large clique, and the relation of this property to boundedness of the tree‐independence number, a graph parameter introduced independently by Yolov in 2018 and by Dallard, Milanič, and Štorgel ...

A Guide to Key Decision Criteria for Likert‐Scale Use in Survey Research

open access: yesGlobal Business and Organizational Excellence, Volume 45, Issue 5, Page 493-508, July/August 2026.
ABSTRACT Although widely used in survey research, the application of the Likert scale often lacks rigorous justification in relation to key methodological decisions. Furthermore, inconsistencies in terminology persist, for example, the common reference made to the “5‐point Likert scale,” even though debate is ongoing about the optimal number of ...

Proximity to bait and social interactions influence individual wild pig (Sus scrofa) visitation at bait sites

open access: yesThe Journal of Wildlife Management, Volume 90, Issue 5, July 2026.
Individual wild pig bait site visitation and time to initial detection is primarily influenced by space use (i.e., proximity to bait) and whether wild pigs from other social groups visited before. Specifically, females are less likely to visit a bait site if an adult male visits a site before them.

Radiolabeled Angiopep‐2 Peptide Vector as a Preclinical Platform for Blood–Brain Barrier Targeting: Synthesis, Radiolabeling, and Preliminary In Vivo Biodistribution in Mice

open access: yesJournal of Peptide Science, Volume 32, Issue 7, July 2026.
The developed DOTA‐Angiopep‐2 conjugate was well tolerated in glioma cells and enabled high‐yield radiolabeling with 177Lu and 161Tb. The 161Tb conjugate showed brain delivery with predominantly renal clearance, supporting a stable radiotheranostic platform for BBB‐targeted glioma therapy and SPECT imaging.
