Market Integration and Nonlinear Price Transmission in 19th‐Century British Wheat Markets
ABSTRACT Important developments in infrastructure and institutions characterized 19th‐Century wheat markets in Great Britain. Among these developments was the construction of the national rail system which enabled cheaper and more efficient transport of grain and other bulky cargoes between inland towns and ports.

Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact
An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.

Empowerment or Pressure? Exploring the Impact of Female Body Depictions in Body Positivity Instagram Posts on Self-Objectification. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Although Body Positivity content (BoPo) has been criticised for emphasising physical appearance and promoting self‐objectification, the specific features driving these effects remain unclear. The present study examined whether depictions of female bodies act as triggers for self‐objectification in BoPo on Instagram.

Field‐level crop choice responses to weather‐induced yield shocks in the US Corn Belt
Abstract As climate change increases the frequency and severity of extreme heat events, farmers are expected to face greater variability in crop yields. Using 10 million field‐level observations, this study examines how farmers in the US Corn Belt adjust corn–soybean rotation decisions in response to yield shocks largely driven by weather fluctuations.

Theories of Interest and Their Relation to the Gesell–Keynes Theory
ABSTRACT We consider theories of interest as they relate to what we will call the Gesell‐Keynes (GK) theory which is essentially a real theory of capital accumulation with a monetary constraint that arises because of a liquidity return on holding money.

A ramsey-type theorem for multiple disjoint copies of induced subgraphs
Let k and ℓ be positive integers with ℓ ≤ k − 2. It is proved that there exists a positive integer c depending on k and ℓ such that every graph of order (2k−1−ℓ/k)n+c contains n vertex disjoint induced subgraphs, where these subgraphs are isomorphic to ...

An exploration in Ramsey theory
We present several introductory results in the realm of Ramsey Theory, a subfield of Combinatorics and Graph Theory. The proofs in this thesis revolve around identifying substructure amidst chaos.
