Minimal attractors and bifurcations of random dynamical systems

open access: yesProceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 1999
The author examines random dynamical systems (RDS) generated by iterating skew-product maps of the form \(F(w,x)= (\theta(w), \psi_w(x))\), where \(\theta\) is the base transformation (the noise process) and \(\psi\) is the fibre transformation (the forced system). The author assumes that base transformation preserves an ergodic invariant measure.

Data‐driven forecasting of ship motions in waves using machine learning and dynamic mode decomposition

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Summary Data‐driven forecasting of ship motions in waves is investigated through feedforward and recurrent neural networks as well as dynamic mode decomposition. The goal is to predict future ship motion variables based on past data collected on the field, using equation‐free approaches.

Stability of random attractors under perturbation and approximation

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2002
The paper is concerned with the dependence of the (global) random attractors of a family of random dynamical systems \(\bigl(\varphi_\varepsilon(t,\omega)\bigr)\) on a Polish space \((X,d)\) over a common probability space on a parameter~\(\varepsilon\) (while~\(\varepsilon\) is implicitly assumed to be from \([0,\infty)\subset\mathbb{R}\), the ...

Optimized Time–Frequency Analysis for Induction Motor Fault Detection Using Hybrid Differential Evolution and Deep Learning Techniques

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Workflow of the parameter optimization process for ITSC fault detection, applying Differential Evolution optimization and the Smooth Pseudo Wigner‐Ville Distribution for signal processing. The optimized parameters are then used in the failure identification pipeline, which combines the signal processing with a YOLO‐based architecture for fault severity

Forskolin Enhances Urokinase Plasminogen Activator Secretion and Angiogenic Activity of Xeno‐Free Cultures of Human Adipose Tissue‐Derived Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
The regenerative potential of adipose tissue‐derived stem cells can be enhanced through chemical stimulation in vitro. A short stimulation protocol using forskolin, either alone or in combination with other growth factors, under xeno‐free conditions enhanced the pro‐angiogenic responses in human ASCs.

Targeting RAGE with Nanobodies for Molecular Imaging of Cancers and Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
RAGE‐specific nanobodies were isolated via phage display and characterized by ELISA, cell ELISA, and SPR. In vivo imaging in renal carcinoma and Alzheimer's disease mouse models demonstrated that NbF8, the highest‐affinity clone, selectively targeted RAGE‐overexpressing tumors and brain tissues, highlighting its potential as a molecular imaging agent ...

LIN28B Promotes Cancer Cell Dissemination and Angiogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
Children diagnosed with high‐risk neuroblastoma have a 5‐year event‐free survival rate of less than 50% and poor outcomes after recurrence. Deregulation of the LIN28B oncogene can be addressed in these patients. Upregulation of LIN28B is shown to support the metastatic cascade.
