Convergence to local random attractors [PDF]

open access: yesDynamical Systems, 2003
Random attractors allow one to classify qualitative and quantitative aspects of the long-time behaviourof stochastically forced systems viewed as random dynamical systems (RDS) in an analogous way to attractors for deterministic systems. We compare several notions of random attractor in RDS by examining convergence of trajectories to a random invariant

Random Delta-Hausdorff-attractors

open access: yesDiscrete & Continuous Dynamical Systems - B, 2018
Global random attractors and random point attractors for random dynamical systems have been studied for several decades. Here we introduce two intermediate concepts: $ $-attractors are characterized by attracting all deterministic compact sets of Hausdorff dimension at most $ $, where $ $ is a non-negative number, while cc-attractors attract all ...

Global attractors for multivalued random dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2002
We introduce the concept of multivalued random dynamical system (MRDS) as a measurable multivalued flow satisfying the cocycle property. We show how this is a suitable framework for the study of the asymptotic behaviour of some multivalued stochastic parabolic equations by generalizing the concept of global random attractor to the case of a MRDS.

Attractors via random perturbations [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 1989
We discuss conditions which ensure that weak limits of invariant measures of small random perturbations of dynamical systems have their supports on attractors.

Criteria for Strong and Weak Random Attractors [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dynamics and Differential Equations, 2009
The theory of random attractors has different notions of attraction, amongst them pullback attraction and weak attraction. We investigate necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of pullback attractors as well as of weak attractors.

Strange Nonchaotic Attractors in Random Dynamical Systems [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2004
Whether strange nonchaotic attractors (SNAs) can occur typically in dynamical systems other than quasiperiodically driven systems has long been an open question. Here we show, based on a physical analysis and numerical evidence, that robust SNAs can be induced by small noise in autonomous discrete-time maps and in periodically driven continuous-time ...

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
