APPLICATION OF THE RANDOM MATRIX THEORY ON THE CROSS-CORRELATION OF STOCK ‎PRICES [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematical Modelling & Computations, 2016
The analysis of cross-correlations is extensively applied for understanding of interconnections in stock markets. Variety of methods are used in order to search stock cross-correlations including the Random Matrix Theory (RMT), the Principal Component ...

Statistical description of transport in multimode fibers with mode-dependent loss

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2018
We analyze coherent wave transport in a new physical setting associated with multimode wave systems where reflection is completely suppressed and mode-dependent losses together with mode mixing are dictating the wave propagation.

Random matrix approach to three-dimensional QCD with a Chern-Simons term

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We propose a random matrix theory for QCD in three dimensions with a Chern-Simons term at level k which spontaneously breaks the flavor symmetry according to U(2N f) → U(N f + k)×U(N f − k).

Plasma EV Proteomics Identifies ECM Remodeling and Inflammatory Proteins LUM and C7 as Candidate Biomarkers in FSHD

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is one of the most debilitating and common muscular dystrophies. Despite its severity, no approved therapy exists for FSHD patients. However, several therapeutic candidates are currently under development, and some have recently entered clinical trials, marking the need for reliable ...

Off-diagonal observable elements from random matrix theory: distributions, fluctuations, and eigenstate thermalization

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2018
We derive the eigenstate thermalization hypothesis (ETH) from a random matrix Hamiltonian by extending the model introduced by Deutsch (1991 Phys. Rev. A 43 2046).

A Two‐Stage Questionnaire and Actigraphy Screening for iRBD in a Multicenter Retrospective Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Isolated rapid‐eye‐movement sleep behavior disorder is a prodromal marker of synucleinopathies. However, most cases remain undiagnosed due to the insufficient predictive value of questionnaires and limited access to confirmatory video‐polysomnography. We assessed a two‐stage screening strategy combining a brief questionnaire on rapid‐

Sparse kronecker pascal measurement matrices for compressive imaging

open access: yesJournal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications, 2017
Background The construction of measurement matrix becomes a focus in compressed sensing (CS) theory. Although random matrices have been theoretically and practically shown to reconstruct signals, it is still necessary to study the more promising ...

Natural Frequencies of Levodopa‐Induced Dyskinesia in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Abnormal involuntary movements, known as dyskinesias, are common complications of levodopa treatment in patients with Parkinson's disease and can significantly impair quality of life. The underlying pathophysiology remains unclear, and current therapeutic options are limited.
