On a variance related to the Ewens sampling formula
A one-parameter multivariate distribution, called the Ewens sampling formula, was introduced in 1972 to model the mutation phenomenon in genetics. The case discussed in this note goes back to Lynch’s theorem in the random binary search tree theory.

Global Rather Than Vertical‐Selective Saccadic Abnormalities in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective To test whether vertical saccades are preferentially affected in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Methods PSP patients (n = 24) were compared to age‐matched controls (n = 94) and two degenerative groups (Alzheimer's disease, n = 20; Lewy body disease, n = 50).

Layer-2 transferable belief model: Manage uncertainty on random permutation sets
In this paper, the transferable belief model established on power sets is extended to the permutation event space (PES) and is referred to as the layer-2 transferable belief model. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive approach for handling and modeling

Safety and Efficacy of GLP‐1 Receptor Agonists in Adults With Epilepsy, Obesity, and Type 2 Diabetes
ABSTRACT Objective Managing obesity in patients with epilepsy is complicated by the weight‐gaining properties of essential antiseizure medications (ASMs) such as valproate and pregabalin. We evaluated the safety and efficacy of initiating glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptor agonists (GLP‐1 RAs) in this population.
