Random searches are classified as either guided or unguided, depending on whether information is retained whenever the outcome of a trial step is learned. Furthermore, both the guided and unguided varieties of random search are given accelerated convergence by increasing the adopted step size in a successful search direction.

Objective Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe extra‐articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study aimed to externally validate a genetic risk score (GRS) and a combined risk score (CRS) for predicting the risk of RA‐associated PF in an independent cohort of patients with early RA.

APPLICATION OF ITERATIVE DYNAMIC PROGRAMMING TO OPTIMAL FEED-BACK CONTROL PROBLEM
This paper presents a generalization of iterative dynamic programming using Luus-Jakola optimization procedure applied to the solution of optimal feed-back control for nonlinear deterministic systems. Iterative dynamic programming is realized. Efficiency

A Random Structure for Optimum Cache Size Distributed hash table (DHT) Peer-to-Peer design
We propose a new and easily-realizable distributed hash table (DHT) peer-to-peer structure, incorporating a random caching strategy that allows for {\em polylogarithmic search time} while having only a {\em constant cache} size.

Objective Relapsing polychondritis (RP) is a rare disease defined by recurrent cartilaginous inflammation. Anti–collagen II (Col2) antibodies have been proposed as a diagnostic biomarker for RP, but their performance characteristics are not well defined.

Block Recursive Equilibria for Stochastic Models of Search on the Job [PDF]
In this paper, we develop a general stochastic model of directed search on the job. Analogous to models of random search on the job, the state of the economy in our model includes the infinite-dimensional distribution of workers across different ...

Sex Differences in Medication Discontinuation in Axial Spondyloarthritis
Objective We examined sex differences in medication discontinuation among patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) initiating tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi), interleukin‐17 inhibitors (IL‐17i), or JAK inhibitors (JAKi). Methods Using data from the Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) Registry (2003–2025), we assessed ...
